The V&A exhibition, “Videogames: Design/Play/Disrupt” features ground-breaking contemporary videogames. It features design work, concept art and prototypes alongside immersive installations and interactives.
The exhibition takes a special stance on videogames by looking at the controversial topics. It explores and appreciates the medium’s power to criticise issues, politics and society.
A big part of the exhibition tackles inclusivity in the video games, industry including female developers’ experiences and female representation in games.
The industry has a lot of room for improvement but V&A showcases the games and developers that are pushing for change.
“Videogames” will be at the V&A until Sunday 24th February
